In 2011, OPTYVA engaged with the Business Conservation Services group of Seattle City Light to explore marketing outreach and optimization of existing energy efficiency incentives and rebates available to commercial Puget Sound electricity customers.  We developed an overarching program strategy and advised several senior members of the Business Conservation team, specifically targeting the increasing power consumption trends of data center expansion in alignment with the rise and popularity of cloud-based services and storage. Through data center site measures and monitoring methodology, OPTYVA developed a proprietary energy efficiency and optimization model for high-power demand computing and server environments.  As a comprehensive solution, we consulted Seattle City Light and several of the utility’s key data center customers  with sustainable technology strategy, business performance,  intelligence and KPI modeling, incentive program strategy and segmentation, program marketing, and related ROI analyses.
